Having always had an interest in photography, Ailsa Barnett knew from a young age that it was something that she wanted to study. Having travelled extensively, this has given her the opportunity to build her passion in travel and street photography. She also has a passion for fashion and portraiture photography. This is the inspiration for her final, major project being ‘Charity Shop Fashion’.
Barnett grew up reading Vogue magazines which gave her inspiration for her creative practice in the art of photography. During her studies, her skills have greatly expanded and she has creatively and academically developed. Barnett plans on continuing onto Honours year where she will study Communication Design. This will continue alongside discovering new areas of photography and design. She has also recently discovered an interest in both curation and illustration.
